Marriage rights that seemed impossible only a few decades ago. The HIV/AIDS crisis and then the powerful medications that keep it at bay. And a broader culture that is — at times begrudgingly — developing a more nuanced and human understanding of sexuality and gender.

For LGBTQ Nation‘s September Issue – which will address LGBTQ+ people aging with dignity — we want to hear from you, our readers who have lived through these changes and who have helped create the world we live in now: What’s something that changed in your lifetime for LGBTQ+ people? How has it affected you personally?
