A video showing a mother reacting negatively to her young child’s statement that they’re a boy is getting attention online.

“I’m a boy,” the tyke says in the video, idly. It’s not clear if they’re actually identifying as transgender or if they’re just saying stuff.

“You’re not a boy,” the mother responds angrily. “Don’t ever say that again. You’re a girl.”

Then the mother makes it into a huge deal, saying, “You understand me? Jesus made you a girl, so you are a girl. It’s what you’re meant to be and what you’ll only ever be.”

She repeats, “You understand me?”

The kid then apologizes, and the mother thanks them.

“Hey, you love the body that Jesus gave you and the body he gave you is that of a girl,” effectively telling the kid that if they are transgender, they are immoral.

It’s not clear why the video was being recorded.
