We at LGBTQ Nation want to know: Who are community service innovators who deserve recognition for helping others or improving their communities in unique and surprising ways?

Our upcoming April Issue will feature individuals and groups that are taking unique and surprising approaches to community work. So we’re wondering: Are there any special people or organizations that you think deserve special recognition for their brave, special, or unconventional approach to changing the world, uplifting people, or improving their communities?

Perhaps they’re an individual or group of people that most others wouldn’t expect to lend a helping hand. Maybe they’re helping an overlooked community in creative, compassionate, or unexpected ways. Or maybe they’re uniquely utilizing local resources and volunteers to make a difference in a way that others could learn from.
