March 22 2025, 08:15

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had nothing but praise for Arizona Democrats for helping get rid of out bisexual Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) this past election cycle.

“That means our communities – each and every one of us – choosing and voting for Democrats and elected officials who know how to stand for the working class,” she said at a rally in Tempe, Arizona, on Thursday that she held with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Sinema, who went from being a centrist Democrat to a centrist independent in 2022, decided not to seek reelection in 2024 after she had been labeled one of the most loathed politicians in America. State Democrats didn’t like her, and she wasn’t polling well with anyone in the state, which likely contributed to her decision not to run for office again.

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) ended up winning that Senate seat in 2024.

Ocasio-Cortez shared video of her comments about Sinema on Bluesky and wrote, “And that’s on that.”
