Since its introduction in 2012, the Mr. Snowbound Contest—which sees handsome show-offs strut their stuff in categories like “Stage Presence” and “Sex Appeal”—has raised over $41K for AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod. The contest is just one piece of a larger lineup of events at Mates Leather Weekend, a gathering in Provincetown for men who like to relax, play and party with guys in (and, perhaps, out of) uniform. This year’s 28th annual outing also includes a Boot Camp dance party at the A-House, a leather market with barbers and bootblacks at the Boatslip Resort, and the Uniforms & Cigars soirée at the Crown & Anchor, an opportunity to meet the Mr. Snowbound contestants in the flesh before a winner is announced.
