August 26 2025, 08:15 Rupaul’s Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon-Boulash has reflected on their “gutting” end to their Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins journey.
Last month, the non-binary Drag Race favourite, who uses they/them pronouns, was announced to be joining the lineup for the Channel 4 military-style reality series.
Bimini became one of four queer contestants on this year’s series, which sees 14 stars in total undergoing gruelling training challenges which mimic those used on actual UK Special Forces selection courses.
Set in Wales, the home of the first phase of SAS selection, instructors Billy Billingham, Jason Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver put the contestants through their paces. However, just five made it through to the final on Monday (25 August) after navigating intense challenges.
Despite making it to the final five alongside out lesbian singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan, former Love Island star Adam Collard, former professional football player Troy Deeney, and one of the “Peru Two” drug mules, Michaella McCollum, both Bimini and Collard missed out on a metaphorical Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins trophy.
Bimini took to X after the series end to tell fans that, despite the disappointing outcome, they upheld their values throughout.
I was gutted to miss out RIGHT at the end but I’m happy with everything I achieved on the show, I stuck to my morals and I can proudly say that… I DID smash it!
