Donald Trump has used the sudden and tragic deaths of legendary director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, to brag about his own greatness.
The Reiners were found dead in their Los Angeles home Sunday afternoon from an apparent homicide. Despite there being almost no information on what happened (other than their son, Nick Reiner, being arrested afterward), Trump blamed the late director’s death on his being anti-Trump.

“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood,” the president wrote. “Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”
Trump then proceeded to brag about being the best president ever, in a post that was ostensibly about mourning the loss of the Reiners.

“He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!” Trump wrote.
Folks on social media – even conservatives and his own supporters – were horrified by Trump’s comments. Political commentator Brian Krassenstein called it “the most disgusting” post he’s ever written. “Imagine if I said this about Charlie Kirk,” Krassenstein said.

Today, Donald Trump is seemingly making fun of him and saying he died of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
This is just distasteful and disrespectful, regardless of politics.
